Vipers has been looking up to adding fresh blood into its club from acquiring new players,new technical staff to now appointing a new CEO.

Vipers are not looking back as they look to win a second successive Star Times Uganda Premier League trophy after they beat close rivals KCCA FC to the gong in the 2019/20 season.
Simon Peter Njuba has joined Vipers SC to fill in as the CEO as Lawrence Mulindwa continues to shake up things at the kitende based club. Njuba will replace Lwanga Peter who was relieved of his duties about three months ago as the CEO of the club.
The CEO role at Vipers had 85 applicants but Njuba Simon Peter’s pedigree beat them all to win the CEO seat at the kitende based team.
The New CEO was handed the instruments of power at a ceremony that was officiated by Vipers’ Legal Director and Executive member Alex Luganda.

Mr. Alex Luganda Stressed that the race for the most important seat at the club was a competitive one but also confirmed that they did the screening in a thorough and ethical way with the help of a well recognisable Human resource firm .”It was a very competitive race, The firm confirmed to us that the best candidate that will take us forward is Simon Peter Njuba. Our job now is to make sure that we give him the necessary support.” The legal Director confirmed.
Simon Njuba has put pen to paper on a renewal two-year contract and will be hoping that his experience in the football game can help him push Vipers to the next level.”I have some good experience in football,” Njuba said after his unveiling ceremony.
He went ahead and stressed that his interception with Uganda football federation would give him confidence to perform his duties at his new role with ease, “I have also dealt with the federation before so it will not be hard for me to manage this job. I will make sure I fulfill the obligations of the club.” Njuba added .
