It’s been a blissful summer for coach Kajoba and The Venom fans, unleashing two signings; Ibrahim Orit from Mbarara city and Disan Galiwango from Express in a space of one week. In the spirit of unleashing even bigger plans, as if it was not enough for the reigning champions to drop signals of how they are taking things too serious next season, they went ahead and extended their VIP section at st. Mary’s stadium so that they can meet the CAF regulations as they will be playing continental football next season.
One of the venoms new guns, Disan Galiwango has big dreams to fulfill at st. Marys stadium. After putting pen to paper on Wednesday 1st July, Disan was taken through the club like any other new employee would have been treated. Galiwango was reacquainted with his former coach, Mr. Kajoba the man who gave him his debut at Simba FC and we are certain that Kajoba will pull out the best of this young man who he has known from a young age.
In an exclusive interview with the club’s media team former Express skipper Disan made it clear that with the quality he has and the quality of players at his new club, he hopes to surely push, formerly called Bunamwaya FC to the next level. He hopes to use this opportunity of playing for vipers to walk in the footsteps of Farouq miya who has gone on to realize his professional dreams by playing in Europe.
In his words he said “Vipers is a winning team, therefore I want to continue with the same spirit in a bid to achieve more silverware with the club. Secondly, l want to help the club perform better in the Caf Champions League as l also use the same platform to achieve my professional football dreams.”
After captaining Express last season , his leadership skills and quality on the pitch will benefit the Venoms and surely if we’re to go by his career at Express, Disan looks like a man on a mission for the Four time Uganda premier league champions.
