A forty-nine-year-old female resident of Wakiso is the latest victim in Uganda to succumb to the disease of COVID19.
Ministry of Health recorded this death on 8th August 2020. According to Henry Mwebesa, the Director-general health services at the Ministry, “the deceased was HIV positive and on active Antiretroviral therapy. She had a history of Tuberculosis and asthma. These are very high-risk factors for the deadly COVID-19.”
