The statement continues, “The 3 employees have been referred to Mulago Hospital for further observation and treatment, while the rest of our Kampala branch staff, in line with our safety procedures and Ministry of Health guidelines, have been requested to stay at home under the mandatory 14-days quarantine as the situation continues to be monitored.”
This has prompted the company to temporarily close their Kampala branch at First Street, Industrial area as advised by health officials and strongly enforce the government’s SOPs at their Head office in Namanve Industrial Park as well as the rest of their Countrywide branches, which remain open.
The most recent statistics show results from tests done on 09 August 2020 confirm 14 new COVID cases. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans are 1,297.
