The supreme court has this Tuesday dismissed NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi’s application to amend the petition challenging President Museveni’s re-election
Through his lawyers Mr. Medard Ssegona , the musician cum politician requested the court to amend the petition that more evidence is put at the fore front of the petition since their client was put under house arrest which caused a halt to in the compilation of the petition evidence against the victory of president Museveni.
The case was presided over by a total of nine Judges who were headed by Chief Justice Owiny-Dollo Alfonse where the reading was done by Justice Srella Arachi Amokounanimously stopped the petition without reasons but the judge promised to explain their decisions as the case goes on.
