The Uganda National Examinations Board has today confirmed that barring any serious circumstances, the results from PLE of the 2020 academic year should be ready for release by the end of June.
Like many sectors, education was subject to stop-start, owing to the coronavirus pandemic, which saw school terms resume late in the year. Over 740,000 pupils sat for the 2020 academic year examination in March.
According to UNEB Spokesperson Jeniffer Kalule, the board security team handling malpractice matters sat today (Wednesday) to discuss the various cases they had and how they would proceed.
After that specific committee meeting, the next process will be data entry which will pave the way for the official release. UNEB will communicate the exact date for when the results will be released.
