Pierre Gasly raced out to finsih first and win the Pierre Gasly this afternoon.
Gasly became the 109th different Grand Prix winner in Formula One History in what has been the wildest race of the 2020 season so far. Also, he is the first French winner since 1996.
“Oh my God. What did we do!? We won the fucking race! Oh my God! Oh my God! Guys we did it again! Oh my God!” exclaimed Gasly over the radio.
It was an unfamiliar podium as McLaren’s Carlos Sainz came second and Racing Point’s Lance Stroll finishing third.
It was the second win in Italy for Alpha Tauri having won it before as Toro Rosso.

Hamilton served after the race was restarted on Lap 28 of 53 and battling to finish 7th in the end.
