Kamwokya-based National Unity Platform has made fresh calls to its members to come forth and contest to be able to represent the party in the Kampala Mayoral election.
This comes after Hon. Latif Ssebagala, who was chosen to represent the party in the same race, pulled out saying if his election was to cause division within the party, it was better off he doesn’t contest.
Latif had been vetted and chosen ahead of the traveler and musician Dr. Jose Chameleon.
According to the party, those willing to represent them in the mayoral race ought to pick nomination forms and have them returned by close of business on Friday 25th September.
