This prompted the public to express their concern about these elections given the rising number of COVID-19 infections as Uganda. Results from 22nd August, 2020 indicated that Uganda had registered 97 new cases and the cumulative total confirmed cases of Ugandans to 2,263. One can only worry for the lives of those that shall participate in these elections considering the fact that many Ugandans have disregarded the COVID-19 SOPs.
