Police FC’s Andrew Kigozi has completed his move to KCCA Fc .
The midfielder who was in top form last season winning player of the match on several occasions has swapped Police FC for Kasasiro boys for an undisclosed fee.
Kigozi makes it seven signings for KCCA thus far.
Kigozi started his football career at st. Kizito high school Namugongo representing his school and he was always a standout performer for the school team. He then moved on to play in the Masaza cup playing there for a season with Busiro. This is where he was snapped up by Asan Kasingye’s Police.
Andrew Kigozi now joins KCCA FC on a three-year contract and will be hoping he can help the club secure a place in the CAF champions league by the end of the season.
Kigozi who now fulfills his dream of playing for the Uganda giants will be hoping he can follow in footsteps of Allan Okello in securing moves abroad as he hopes to be among the top scorers at the Club.
“It is a dream come true joining KCCA FC. I am so happy that I will be playing with top players and I am excited about the possibility of playing in CAF” – Kigozi said to KCCA website at his unveiling.
“I want to help KCCA achieve its goals this season and I will work hard to be among the top scorers for the football club”
The 22 year old has vowed to his fans that he will work hard to give them the best and also stressed that he is ready to handle the competition at the club. ” The fans should expect the best from me because I am a hardworking man and I am ready to handle the competition at KCCA”
