KCCA FC has been known for promoting young players to the first team over the years and they’ve done it again with 18-year-old Dominic Ayella being the next beneficiary of the norm.
The kasasiro boys took to Twitter to unveil the youngster posting a video of him driven in a Renault Koleos which led him to their stadium in Lugogo where he changed into the club’s home kit and played around with the ball.
Ayella was spotted by KCCA while he was playing in the Copa coca-cola tournament, his performances for his school Masaka SS impressed the KCCA hierarchy. The 18-year-old has now signed with the senior team.
This announcement arrives after the KCCA manager said that his team was only into young lads who could stay around for a long time.
“We are interested in players who are in their early twenties because we want to groom players that can stay at the club for some time. The idea is to give the players long term contracts to keep the team stable if we are to compete at the top level.”
Dominic Ayella becomes KCCA’s 8th signing after they had already captured Denis Iguma, Charles Lwanga, Italian midfielder Stefano Mazengo Loro, Ashraf Mugume, Brian Aheebwa, and little magician Andrew Samson Kigozi.
