Brian Aheebwa has joined KCCA FC on a two year contract from Mbarara City.

Mike Mutebi has decided to strengthen his squad that performed below expectations the previous season with the addition of Mbarara City star striker Brian Aheebwa.

KCCA FC came second in the 2019/20 star times Uganda premier league before it was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic and they’ve decided to strengthen their squad to compete preferably with last seasons champions Vipers SC.

Brian becomes the kasasiro Boys’ sixth signing following the announcement of Italian Sensation Stefano Mazengo, Lwanga Charles, Ashraf Mugume, and Denis Iguma .

Mike Mutebi is looking to stop the decline of his team that has been happening now for a period of three seasons .

Mike Mutebi will be hoping that Brian Aheebwa can bring more goals to his team that has flattered to deceive for the past seasons. He will also be hoping that the former Mbarara city star will add the required competition for places at a big club.

“KCCA FC brought Brian Aheebwa to score goals. He is going to compete. A big club must always have competition amongst players. If he plays well, he will start.” – Coach Mike Mutebi said on Sanyuka Tv after the unveiling of Starman Aheebwa.

Brian Aheebwa will be hoping his hard thought decision to switch from the city team to the capital pays dividends both off the pitch and on the pitch.

Brain Aheebwa Said “Leaving Mbarara City was not an easy decision to make. However, I had to make a decision that would better my football career. I am happy to be here, and I want to score many goals at KCCA FC.”

With these new six additions KCCA Fc fans will be hoping that their boss Mike Mutebi can guide them to glory again in the league and on the continent in the coming season.
