Gor Mahia star Juma Balinya is in advanced transfer talks with KCCA FC to join them after he mutually ended his association with the East African giants.
The former Police star has already completed his medical with the Uganda Premier League giants and will join KCCA on a two-year deal.
Gor Mahia, who are facing financial difficulties due to the pandemic signed the Uganda international from Yanga FC, who had also initially signed him from Police FC after he became the top scorer of the UPL in the 2018/19 season.
The swap deal between Yanga and Gr Mahia that saw Gor Mahia give away Gnamien Yikpe to yanga for Balinya has not benefited the former police star as he has failed to replicate the kind of form he displayed in the UPL in 2018 before his transfer to Yanga FC and thus he has decided to come back home to rediscover his mojo.
It is reported that also going months without pay by the Nairobi based club could have played a huge part in the departure of the Ugandan star.
However, KCCA FC fans will be hoping that the addition of the 28-year-old can solve the striking challenges that have faced the UPL giants ever since Dan Sserunkuma left the club.
Juma Balinya will join KCCA additions in Ashraf Mugume, Brian Aheebwa, Stefano Loro, Charles Lwanga, Samson Kigozi, Dennis Iguma, and Bright Anukani.
