Another Ugandan has succumbed to COVID19, making it the second death to the global pandemic registered by Uganda.
According to a source for the New Vision, an 80-year-old female resident of Mengo, Kisenyi III succumbed to the disease on Friday evening, and this was confirmed after comprehensive tests were done on the body.
The source continues to say that the deceased presented with signs and symptoms consistent with COVID-19 which included cough, fever, chest pain, and difficulty in breathing.
Uganda registered the first death to COVID19 on 21st July in Mbale. The latest stats from the Ministry Of Health put Uganda at 1103 cumulative cases and 982 recoveries.
