Google have announced that their video conferencing product, Google Meet, shall remain to be free for everyone.
Earlier in the year, Google had announced that the 60-minute time limit for the freee version would come into effect after 30th September but have pushed the date for the upgrade to March 31, 2021.
“We are continuing this promotion through March 31, 2021, to help our users connect with their families, friends, and colleagues. That means you can go on having video calls for up to 100 participants and for up to 24 hours for free,” read a statement from Google.
Earlier in September, Google introduced a new feature in its Meet app where the users can now see up to 49 people at the same time (including themselves) in the auto and tiled layout options.
