Uganda’s prominent artist Edrisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo has finally returned to Uganda after four months in Ivory Coast due to lock-down caused by the COVID19 . The award winning artist was supposed to have a mega concert at Kololo Airstrip in the city of Kampala in March but was cancelled due to the outbreak of the pandemic corona virus. The sitya loss musician decided to travel to Ivory Coast where he had another concert to perform on .
A few days later after his travel, lock down measures were imposed including banning air travels in and out of the country to mitigate the spread of the virus. It became impossible for one to travel from one country to another since each country was taking stringent measures to ensure its citizens are safe. Kenzo opted for several live feeds in Ivory Coast to update his fans and the media about his state .
Due to various calls to the government of Uganda,Eddy Kenzo through his management Big Talent have been able to put enough pressure to the people concerned and they promised them that the artist would be brought back when the measures act positively. This news left the Eddy Kenzo camp filled with joy knowing that their artist would be back soon.
Kenzo was supposed to arrive on Friday evening at 7:00pm but it was later notified that he wasn’t on that exact flight that was supposed to bring him back home.
