A few days later after his travel, lock down measures were imposed including banning air travels in and out of the country to mitigate the spread of the virus. It became impossible for one to travel from one country to another since each country was taking stringent measures to ensure its citizens are safe. Kenzo opted for several live feeds in Ivory Coast to update his fans and the media about his state .

Due to various calls to the government of Uganda,Eddy Kenzo through his management Big Talent have been able to put enough pressure to the people concerned and they promised them that the artist would be brought back when the measures act positively. Later on when the Government of Uganda announced that it would be picking up Ugandan from other countries across the world and bring them back home but shall be in quarantine for 14 days or more to ensure that they are not infected with the deadly virus. This news left the Eddy Kenzo camp filled with joy knowing that their artist would be back soon.

Kenzo was supposed to arrive on Friday evening at 7:00pm but it was later notified that he wasn’t on that exact flight that was supposed to bring him back home. When we inquired why he wasn’t on the arranged flight we were told that the artist was to arrive at the 9:00pm flight and no person was to get near him nor the press till the 14 days of quarantine were done .
It was later in the morning of Saturday at around 1:00am when the flight that returned the BET Award winner arrived and he was greatly happy that he was had finally returned home. His management promised a presser as soon as the artist left the quarantine premises.
