Express has been a busy side in this transfer window that has seen them recruit up to 12 signings ahead of the season scheduled to start on the 17th of October.
The Red Eagles who finished the 9th last season have looked to improve on their league position and goals scored with the acquisition of two new forwards in Kiragga Mustafa who joined from South African side Alexandria Fc and Musiige Charle who was signed a free transfer.
The two forwards have been doing personal training from home under the guidance of their coaches.
“Kiragga (Mustafa) and Musiige (Charles) have responded well to the training program (training from home) and for me, their attitude speaks volumes. I am glad they’ve responded well and we are positive they’ll come good when we begin the season,” Mubiru stated as quoted by Express Fc official website.
Musiige and Kiragga will be hoping that the applause from Mubiru can help them as they try to oust Express’ last season’s top scorer Frank Kalanda “Machete” out of the starting eleven.
However, Wasswa Bossa will be hoping that these two strikers can come good during the season as he hopes to guide the Red Eagles to their first-ever Silverware in 11 years.
