Express has confirmed the capture of Kitaara FC George Ssenkaaba for an undisclosed fee.
The Ugandan sensation has joined the Red Eagles on a two-year deal and will be tasked with finding the back of the net for Coach Bbossa’s team as he aims to guide them to their Seventh Uganda Premier league trophy this season.
The 26-year-old scored five goals in 10 games for Kirara FC en route to the side gaining promotion to the top flight last season. He has also featured for different outfits which include the now-defunct Saints FC, Kirinya Jinja SS now Busoga United, and S.C Villa.
After signing on the dotted line the smiling Ssenkaaba said, “I must say I’m delighted to join the red eagles, like all other players this is a dream come true and I can’t wait to get started.”
Coach Bbossa was also impressed with the capture of the new forward as he praised him for having the qualities required at the club. “Ssenkaaba posseses the qualities we want in a forward, am certain he will have a positive impact for us when the season starts,” Coach Bbossa said.
George Ssenkaaba who becomes Wasswa Bossa’s 17th signing ahead of the new season will be tasked with fighting for a starting berth with Frank Kalanda the club’s top scorer last season, fellow new signing Mustafa Kiragga and Erick Kambaale.
