Singer and BET award winner Edrisah Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo has been in Cote d’Ivoire since March this year when the lockdown was effected.
The “Semyekozo” singer had gone to have a concert but unfortunately the president stopped passenger flights in and out of the country before he could return.

In a statement released on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign affairs listed Cote d’Ivoire as one of the countries where Ugandans would be repatriated between 18th and 24th of July.
Upon hearing the news, Eddy Kenzo went onto his Twitter excited at the good news. He posted a foyer from Uganda airlines that said that the repatriation flight for Ugandans in West Africa will happen on 24th July.

In May, Eddy Kenzo also called the Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, Speaker of Parliament seeking for help because he had spent all the money that he had on him. Unfortunately for him the help that he needed wasn’t immediate but he will soon be back home.
The singer was also supposed to have a mega concert on 28th March at the Kololo airstrip. However just like any other concert, it was stopped by the outbreak of COVID-19.
