Uganda’s cumulative cases have gone beyond the 4,000-mark after the ministry of Health revealed that 201 new cases were realized from tests in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number to 4,101.
201 is the largest number of cases recorded in a day since Uganda recorded 318 from samples tested on 21st August 2020. However, no death has been reported in today’s statistical updates.
Kitgum (80), Kampala (38), and Moroto (23) account for the most cases among the 198 contacts and alerts recorded. These results were realized from 1989 samples tested.
To-date, the country is 1,876 recoveries, and 46 deaths.
