The Coronavirus continues to claim different parts of the capital city and this afternoon, Vision Group has confirmed that a member of their staff tested positive for the virus.
In a statement released by CEO Robert Kabushenga, he confirms that a positive case was registered at their Kampala HQ and the case is being handled with support and cooperation from the ministry of health.

Kabushenga adds that those identified to have been in contact with the positive case will be required to self isolate and stay home for monitoring. The office is to be disinfected regularly while those present will be required to strictly observe SOPs.
Vision Group joins Megha Industries, Toyota Uganda, and Eagle Holdings to disclose the presence of the virus among their staff and the three companies have since closed off operations in the premises where the coronavirus was found among the staff.
This comes after Uganda registered the most number of cases in one day (66) taking the cumulative number of cases to 1500 cases recorded in Uganda.
To date, 1,142 have recovered from the Coronavirus while 13 have succumbed to it.
