DFCU Bank management has confirmed the temporary closure of the Lugogo Branch after 5 of the staff at the aforementioned branch tested positive for the coronavirus.
The announcement came barely 2 days after Stanbic Bank had confirmed cases among a staff member prompting the temporary closure of their William Street branch.
DFCU confirmed that the 5 members of their staff had been accorded the appropriate medical attention while the exposed staff have been requested to self-isolate for 14 days while they get tested too.
While tracking of all possible contacts of the 5 cases is underway, DFCU has chosen to close the branch and mitigate the infections thoroughly by decontamination of the facility as guided by the Ministry Of Health.
DFCU customers are advised to use the following digital channels – QuickBanking, DFCU Agents and ATMS and those who would need customer assistance to visit Bugolobi Branch, Acacia Branch, and Banda Branch.
