Bright stars Fc have moved quick to secure the future of their star defender Ngovi Derrick by awarding him a new one year contract. The matugga based club which is owned by Japanese has decided against dipping into the transfer to sign a new defender yet they already have an established defender at their hands In Derrick.
Bright stars Fc who Keisuke Honda, the former Ac Milan and Japan striker owns interest has extended the contract of the 22 year old defender for an extra season . His contract will now expire at the end of the 2020/21 season .
Bright stars Fc is a Ugandan based football club who play their football in the Uganda Super league, managed by Ronald Mutebi and is owned by Japanese. The matugga based team was founded in 1997 and has thus never won any league title in their existence.
Saltiro Bright Stars confirmed the news for awarding of a new contract with a club statement on their official website .The club statement read “Thank you very much for your continued support of Salty Lobright Stars FC. We would like to inform you that Saltiro Bright Stars FC has agreed with Ngovi Derrick to renew the contract for the 2020/21 season.”

In the wake of deciding to keep their defence tight for another season , Bright Stars have awarded another player a contract extension for a further year in 32 year old Ssebunza Sulaiman a Ugandan Defender.

Bright Stars Fc will now be hoping with these defenders sure of their future ,they can help their team to a better league position than 12th, which they finished in before the corona virus pandemic interrupted football in march 2020
