“Please take note that Boda bodas must operate at gazetted boda boda stages, and each of these stages has a unique reference code, and each division has an identification color to be worn at all times.”

To address the question of delivery cyclists, the minister stressed that Noncommercial motorcycles, utility service motorcycles and goods on delivery motorcycles shall register with the ministry upon which they will receive a special permit to access the free zone.
Boda Bodas operating under digital transport companies will be required to register with the Ministry Of Works and Transport while those not under these companies will be required to register with KCCA.
Cyclists who according to President Museveni’s latest COVID19 coping measures were allowed to operate were met with harsh law enforcement agents on Monday who denied them access to Kampala until the exercise was suspended a few hours later.
