Chelsea took the league early on the first half and their dominance on possession saw them into the driving sweet after a sweet move saw them take the lead through American Youngster Christian Pulisic .
However After the first drinks break , Arsenal stepped up a gear and had a sweet goal from Ivorian international rulex our for offside, Arsenals relentless efforts of coming back to level paid off after Ceaser Azipilicueta bought down Arsenal’s captain Aubameyang who had latched on to Keiran Tierney’s ball over the top of the defense.

Aubameyang made no mistake from the spot as he sent Willy Caballero the wrong way .
Arsenal looked the dominant force after they came back to level terms and they looked the better side of the two London sides.

Arsenal came back stronger in the second half and took a lead after Aubameyang rounded Chelsea defender Zouma to lift the ball over the top of Caballero.

Arsenal’s fortunes wwre then improved after Chelsea star man Christian pulisic tore his hamstring to be replaced by Pedro who also picked up an injury in stoppage time of the game .

Chelsea looked like an unlucky side in a final as another midfielder was lost to a red card after Anthony Taylor sent off Kovacic for a foul on Xhaka, this dented Chelsea’s hopes of winning the final that would have see Frank Lampard become the first English manager to Win Chelsea a trophy as a player and a manger .

However on the Gunner’s side Spanish Coach Mikel Arteta has set several Records, He’s become the first Coach to win a trophy for Arsenal since 1996 that is not Arsene Wenger . The Spaniard has also become the first person to win The FA cup both as a player and a coach for Arsenal as well as the first person to win a trophy for Arsenal both as a player and as a manger .

Arteta will now turn his sites to strengthening his side in the transfer window ahead of next season that starts on the 12th of September and also hoping man of the match Aubameyang signs a new contract at the club .
