The 2021 general elections playground gets more interesting by the day, and we can confirm that political motormouth Andrew Mwenda has picked nomination forms for newly formed National Unity Platform.
What started as a media debate on National broadcaster NBS turned a little more serious when NUP Spokesperson Joel Senyonyi challenged Andrew Mwenda to make do with the “threat” of turning up in Kamwokya to pick nomination forms.
“I want to come and expose the radicals of your new party,” Andrew Mwenda touted. |
“It is okay. You can come and we even have a cup of coffee. All you do is make noise but do not scare us,” replied Joel Senyonyi.
By 10am local time, Andrew Mwenda had been seen through the registration process as a member of NUP, picked Presidential nomination forms and has vowed to taken on Hon Robert Kyagulanyi as flag bearer.

NUP after all are not as radical as I previously thot! I visited their head office, registered as a member, then picked forms to become a presidential candidate. I found Robert Kyagulanyi, like Kaguta Museveni was being treated as a sole presidential candidate for the party.
