Aleksandar Kolarov has joined inter Milan from Roma After making over 100 appearances for the Italian side.
Inter Milan confirmed his arrival on their official website with a statement that read, ”Aleksandar Kolarov is officially a new Inter player: the Serbian player has moved to the Nerazzurri permanently from AS Roma.”
The 35 year old left back has become Inter Milan’s latest addition as Antonio Conte looks to asap Juventus off the top of the table next season.
Kolarov, who can operate both as a left-back and a center back began his career at Red Star Belgrade, but he did not break through to the big boys league and moved on to Čukarički in 2004. Two years later, he joined OFK Beograd before moving abroad for the first time by signing for Lazio in Serie A, where he won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana in 2009.
In 2010, After impressing in Italy he was snapped up by Manchester City and before he left them 2017, he had won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup. Kolarov who was part of the team that dumped Barcelona out of the champions league in 2018 leaves the Roma after making 132 appearances contributing 19 goals and 20 assists.
Kolarov who is the Serbian Captain boosts over 70 appearances for his national team and still hopes to lead the nation going forward .
