At a high-profile event in Kampala, Uganda, Airtel Africa, prominent telecom and mobile money service provider with operations in 14 countries throughout Africa, announced today that it will serve as the title sponsor of The Voice Africa.
With over 180 countries airing The Voice, it is the most popular music and entertainment competition show in the world.
In order to expand the award-winning concept to all 14 Airtel Africa markets and capitalize on the success of The Voice Nigeria, Airtel Africa has teamed with FAME Studios Africa, the executive producers of seasons three and four.
Airtel TV, Free to Air stations (FTAs), and commercial channels will all stream The Voice Africa’s premiere season to millions of Africans in 14 different nations.
The program will pick seven contestants from each of the 14 nations, and one of them will ultimately be named The Voice Africa.
Through on-air custom content integrations, internet and social media activations, and in-country events, The Voice and Airtel Africa’s creative relationship will enthrall fans.
The program will air in March 2023, and the season finale will happen later that same month.
